Artcrafts
In some regions some manufacturing activities like the leather artcraft are centralized, being elaborated beautiful objects and souvenirs, such as: leather goods, saddle, belts, bags and wallets. In other regions jewels with black coral are worked.
Typical Dress
“The Pitahaya Flower dress” and “La Cuera."
Gastronomy
Among their typical dishes are: Burritos of machaca, sea turtle chest; sea turtle padded fins - that is considered a unique dish in the culinary art of the country. On the other hand, the typical sweets are: Different seasonal fruit sweets in syrup.
Historical monuments
Estero de las Palmas de San José del Cabo Mission; it was founded in April 1730 by the father Nicolás Tamaral.
Santiago de las Coras Mission, it was founded August 10, 1721 by the father Ignacio María Napoli.
The Municipal Palace, the Culture House and the Old Lighthouse (monument that dates from 1890).

San José de Cabo
Mijares Square will show you the most attractive corners of this population. It has an outdoors full of trees main garden with a kiosk and a forum in which cultural events are presented.
Estero de las Palmas de San José del Cabo Mission
It was established as mission in 1730, in its ruins there are vestiges of what this property was. In the temple still standing, a square of mosaics stands out in the facade placed in the main entrance in which the murder of father Tamaral by the Pericúes natives that inhabited the region is narrated.
